ABOUT MAISEY MAE

I was inspired by the birth of my first child, Sam, who had infant reflux. During his first year we went through A LOT (!)  of burp cloths and quickly became frustrated with their poor quality. One September afternoon, while burping Sam on my shoulder and trying to think of a unique baby gift for a friend, I looked at the crummy, thin burp cloth I was using and thought... wow... this could be so much cuter and much better made.  I borrowed a sewing machine, took sewing lessons and began to sew…
 
It was then that I decided to create my own luxurious, extra-thick burp cloths that would hold up through many washings, still look great and feel soft against baby's skin. In sharing my creations with other Mom's, Maisey Mae was born.

Today, 3 babies later, we continue to design each creation on the beautiful coast of Maine and have expanded our product line to include long-lasting chenille-backed baby bibs, super cozy baby blankets and adorable Maisey Mae sun hats.
